Clyde does your market research.
Trend monitoring in each brand's niche, competitor analysis with benchmarks and content ideas with source citation. Every insight has a source, so you can verify it. No LLM hallucinations as input to your research.
What Clyde does
Four core functions of this skill.
Trend monitoring per niche
Continuous scanning of news sources, social media and search volumes in the specific niche of each brand.
Competitor analysis
Who are the biggest players, what do they do and what does their content strategy say about their positioning? Including a gap analysis for your brand.
Content ideas with source citation
Actionable content proposals with the underlying sources. No "the AI made this up". Every claim is verifiable.
Actionable insights
Not "the trend is X" but "given trend X, your brand can take action Z." Recommendations with context.

Frequently asked questions about Research
What does the Research skill do exactly?
- Clyde runs continuous market research, monitors trends in your niche, analyzes competitors, and delivers actionable insights with source citations. Answers targeted questions (for example, 'what did competitor X launch in the last 30 days') or runs weekly trend scans in the background.
Which sources does Research use?
- Web (via Perplexity, Tavily, and Exa APIs), news aggregators, social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), Meta Ad Library, Google Trends, and custom RSS feeds you add. Every output shows the exact source, date, and relevance score.
On which tiers is Research available?
- Included on all tiers with fair-use on number of queries. 3 credits per query. Professional adds scheduled weekly trend reports, Enterprise adds custom report cadences and specific competitor watchlists. Founding Member receives lifetime access at 997 EUR.
How long does Research onboarding take?
- Three to five days. Day 1 you specify the niche, audience, and competitors. Days 2 through 3 Clyde establishes a baseline trend profile. Day 4 delivers the first weekly report with manual feedback. From day 5 it runs autonomously with a weekly review.
How does this differ from Perplexity Pro or Brandwatch?
- Perplexity Pro answers stand-alone questions without memory. Brandwatch is enterprise social listening. Clyde combines deep web search and social listening with brand-level memory: a trend that was relevant last week is not pulled again, and competitor moves are linked to your earlier analyses.
